  • Capture and edit light video content, including short-form social clips and product-focused reels (primarily iPhone-based capture).
  • Maintain organized archives of digital assets for ongoing use and reference.
  • Coordinate with internal or external video teams on larger or more polished video projects as needed, serving as the GCV point of contact.

Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Collaborate with the Gibson Certified Vintage Manager on social media planning and execution.
  • Create and publish supporting social content tied to product releases, listings, and program initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent visual and tonal presence across social channels.
  • Support basic engagement and content optimization efforts as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Gibson corporate Marketing and PR teams to align GCV content with broader initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support campaigns, launches, and special projects.
  • Engage external creative partners when required to support larger content initiatives.

Design & Program Support

  • Provide light design support as needed for program materials, including Certificates of Authenticity, Letters of Appraisal, and related assets.
  • Support continuous improvement of content workflows, documentation, and asset management practices.

Team Support (As Needed)

  • Collaborate with the GCV team to support day-to-day operations during peak periods or special initiatives.

  • Comfortable producing light video content for social and digital use.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign, as well as Capture One, for image editing, asset preparation, and light design work.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple listings and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with high-value instruments and technical product information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining ownership of deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms and digital asset workflows.
  • Clear written communication skills for editing and refining product copy.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in photography, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in digital content, photography, e-commerce, or related roles.
  • Experience working in product-driven or specialty retail environments preferred.
  • Background in music, instruments, or adjacent creative industries is a plus.

Essential Knowledge

  • Strong working knowledge of guitars, with an emphasis on vintage instruments, and a demonstrated desire to continue building product knowledge.
  • Ability to confidently identify core Gibson models and engage with internal teams about vintage guitars in a knowledgeable, professional manner.
  • Understanding of digital content workflows, from capture through publication.

Personal Qualities

  • Ownership-driven and dependable, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Comfortable balancing creative execution with operational consistency.
  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, evolving program environment.
  • Collaborative, professional, and detail-oriented.
